We are delighted to welcome back the award-winning pianist and versatile chamber musician, Irena Radić who is the Constant & Kit Lambert Junior Fellow 2024/25 at the Royal College of Music, where she is in her final year of study on the Artist Diploma programme.
Irena enjoys curating programmes that follow a narrative or theme, sharing a diverse range of music with her audiences – from renowned masterworks to lesser-known gems.
A Musicians’ Company Young Artist, Irena has also won prizes at the Bromsgrove International Musicians Competition, the Kendall Taylor Beethoven Competition and the Teresa Carreño Piano Competition. Recent highlights include a sell-out recital in Bath featuring Rachmaninoff’s 10 Preludes op.23, on the magnificent Steinway selected and used by the composer himself in the 1930s, for his own performances across the UK.
A student of Dina Parakhina and Niel Immelman, Irena completed her Master of Performance with distinction as a Cotes-Burgan scholar and holds a first class Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Royal College of Music, London. She has performed in venues including the Royal Festival Hall, St James’s Piccadilly, The Forge, Bolivar Hall and West Road Concert Hall.
