The London Sketch Club is open to both professional and amateur artists. The club runs life drawing and portrait sessions several times a week and has a programme of dinners and exhibitions that run throughout the year.
At Tuesday life drawing sessions, held throughout the year, members draw a variety of models followed by a fine meal and chat.
In the winter months, the club holds monthly themed dinners where they are fed and entertained by their appointed host who arranges entertainment of music, talks and other performances for members and their guests. Humour and caricature have always been one of the Club’s reasons for being.

The London Sketch Club is a private club run, on an entirely voluntary basis, by its members. We welcome new members, all of whom must be proposed and seconded by existing members, following which they are invited to a relaxed interview with the club’s council.
